Poco has announced that it will soon be launching the new device in India under “Make in India”. However, what would this device be? The suspense remains on this for the time being. The company has shared a video announcing this, in which Poco’s dedication to the ‘Make in India’ initiative can be seen. As everyone knows, anti-China sentiment has increased in the country at this time and everyone is boycotting Chinese-made products. In such a situation, this move of Poco is definitely like hitting a four on the spot.
The video shared by the Twitter handle of Poco India showcases the brand’s dedication to the Indian market. The post also reminds us that Poco is an India-made brand two years back and will now take forward the government’s “Make in India” initiative by manufacturing products and services in India.
Poco sports a 6.18-inch display with 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass protection. Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor has been used in the phone which comes with LiquidCool technology. The phone has infrared light which is useful in the face unlock feature. Xiaomi said that the AI camera has been tuned for India and there is also a scene recognition feature. The company has talked about having Direct HD sound support.
Poco has three options for inbuilt storage – 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB. With the help of a hybrid SIM slot, users can increase the storage up to 256 GB. Connectivity features include 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 AC, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C and 3.5mm headphone jack. Accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor are part of this phone. It is worth noting that the phone has a 4000 mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 3.
