The Realme gives the feeling of being bigger in the hands. We had trouble using this phone with one hand, but it is not too heavy. A thickness of 8.5 millimeters would be considered wide, but the grip is good due to the curved polycarbonate edges. There are many layers of lamination on the back of the phone, which gives the feeling of being a glass panel. In the language of Reality, a “crystal-like dewdrop” effect.
Fingerprints fall easily on it.The phone comes with a 6.3-inch full-HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The bezels all around are very slim. The edges are a bit rough when touched with hands, especially with the screen protector already provided. There is no notification LED. The earpiece is just above the front camera. The sensors are on the right.
At the bottom, there is a speaker grille, Micro-USB port, and 3.5mm headphone socket. Holding the phone in landscape mode increases the chances of blocking the speaker. You can avoid this by flipping the phone to the other side. The fingerprint sensor is on the back. It works fast. The dual-camera module at the rear protruded from the surface. But there were no scratch marks on its glass during use. The retail box will get a 10W charger, Micro-USB cable, SIM ejector tool, silicone cover, and instruction manual.
There are three variants of the phone based on RAM and storage – 64 GB storage with 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage with 6 GB RAM, and 128 GB storage with 8 GB RAM. It doesn’t have FM radio or NFC support. The top variant of Realme is the first phone to come with 8 GB RAM in this price range. Other specifications include Bluetooth 5, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 AC, USB-OTG, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, compass, and accelerometer. It doesn’t have FM radio or NFC support.
