Over the last decade, Panasonic has been quite a constant in the smartphone arena branding its Eluga series. It mostly launches entry-level or mid-range devices from the brand and PANASONIC ELUGA i6 is no different. The phone features a 5.4-inch FWVGA display with 480×960 pixels resolution and is also bolstered by a Dragontrail for extra protection. This phone is based on the Android 9 operating system. The phone runs on the quad-core MediaTek processor with 2GB RAM. It packs 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 256GB. Thus plentiful download and subsequent storage should not be a worry for purchasers.
It gets Dragontrail protection and carrier thick bezels at the top and bottom end of the display. The back panel is made of plastic and even the frame gets plastic finishing. Thus, it can be of great use for entertainment purposes.
Owing to the limited processor and RAM its performance in high-intensity games like, PUBg and CoD are not that impressive. The phone runs on the Android 9 operating system. Multitasking is quite smooth and does not show any lag until highly complex software especially dealing with massive data is run.
As far as the camera setup is concerned, the customers get a single 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera on the Eluga I6. Thus, it is suitable for non-professional yet regular usage.
The phone packs a 3,000mAh battery which gets charged using a micro-USB 2.0 port. Thus this phone is good enough to las the day.
Panasonic Eluga I6 comes with a compact design and therefore is easy to carry around. It being powered by a quad-core processor but only with 2GB of RAM. The rear camera offers decent quality photos for the price and the storage is further expandable up to 256GB. However, the phone comes with the Android 9 version out of the box and the overall package does not match the competition.
