Samsung has fielded the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE5 as a respectable option in the low-cost flagship segment. It actually was up to the mark in most of the tests, but nevertheless, there were a few drawbacks that can’t be overlooked.

For addition of only Rs. 2000 the jump from Snapdragon 865 processor to the Snapdragon 888 is quite drastic in terms of performance.
The phone is also capacitated enough to have high demanding games like Asphalt 9: Legends and call of duty in a high quality run smoothly without any hiccups. It sports a 6.5 super AMOLED display showcasing a range of high-intensity colours using the default Vivid Screen mode. The display is quite sharp thanks to an FHD+ resolution which delivers a crisp 407ppi.
Samsung in the new model has not undertaken any changes as far as the cameras are concerned and differences if any, should be attributed to the processor upgrade from Exynos 990 to Snapdragon 865 which leads to differences in photo processing and therefore the end result. The rear setup consists of a 12MP f/1.8 wide-angle camera, an 8 MP f/2.4 telephoto camera (3X optical zoom) and a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera whereas selfies can be clicked by a 32 MP f/2.2 camera.
It is powered by a Li-ion 4500 mAh non-removable battery which can be fast-charged at 25W.
All in all, given the price range Samsung Galaxy S20 FE5 is a pretty good deal.
