The latest smartphone from a steady stream of products from Poco is the new Poco M3. Poco has decided to value it within the Rs 12000 price bracket, probably to position itself alongside the options of Redmi 9 Power and Moto G9 Power. It comes with massive upgrades from its predecessor, the Poco M2.
POCO M3 Specifications
The M3 is similar in size to the Poco M2. The phone features a dashing 6.53-inch display punctuated with a dewdrop notch at the top. On the downside, the bezels are quite thick all around but the reasonable price makes it white understandable. Poco opted for a plastic body for the M3, and it is quite robust. The back panel has a textured finish which helps keep fingerprints off it and helps when gripping the smartphone.
Poco has significantly upgraded the battery capacity from 5000 mAh to 6000 mAh. This ensures that it is good to last more than a day. However, it does increase the weight and is quite manifest while holding it. The Poco M3 sports a full-HD+ display. The M3 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor. This is quite abundantly used in phones belonging to this price, for example, the Redmi 9 Power and the Moto G9 Power.
The camera of Poco M3
The m3 comes with a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. As far as the front cameras are concerned, it sports an 8-megapixel shooter in the dewdrop notch. The overall camera setup is quite satisfying, especially at the given price range.
The M3 offers a capable processor and 6GB of RAM and delivers good performance. One can comfortably multitask while gaming because of the processor and the massive battery capacity. Graphic-intense games worked quite smoothly on the phone.
