Oppo A31 Price comparison, reviews and specifications.
With a resounding claim of an upgrade to the previous version, Oppo launched the successor i.eOppo A31. Oppo A31 pro was the first smartphone to feature a gimbal technology camera system in India for the purpose of compensating for errors disturbances arising out of shakes and wobbles by physically moving itself. It happened to be one of the unique selling propositions employed by Vivo.
The Oppo A31looks pretty much like its previous version. The design is overall unaltered as it any looks attractive. It features a 6.56 inch AMOLED display with curves along the edges just like the Samsung Galaxy S series smartphones. It looks quite sleek and seamless.
The Oppo A31operates on Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC processor and a hefty 12 GB RAM. Its connectivity choices entail dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, 4G VoLTE, and 5G.
The Oppo A31is fuelled by a Li-Po 4230 mAh non-removable battery and charges at 33W. It comes with a triple camera system at the back, which is not a drastic upgrade from the preceding version. The primary camera has a 12MP sensor and what they brag the most about, gimbal stabilisation. Thus it is just the perfect choice for shooting videos. For covering ultra-wide angles a8MP camera is also provided. It is also packed with an AI scene optimisation which is enabled by default and it quickly detects scenes.
There are two stabilisation modes namely standard and super anti-shake. The former works well when footage is recorded while walking and the latter while running or moving quickly or on a bumpy road.
It has to be said that the Oppo A31is an apt successor to the Vivo X50 but whether it justifies its price tag or not will remain to be a matter of concern.
