Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has launched its budget smartphone Redmi 8A dual. This is the successor model of the company’s Redmi 8A, which comes with dual rear cameras. The company has kept the initial price of the Redmi 8A smartphone. It is the first smartphone in its segment to get features like a USB Type-C port, fast charging, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. This phone will come in three new colour variants – Sea Blue, Sky White, and Midnight Grey. Earlier there were reports that the company can launch the Redmi 9A smartphone.

The sale of the phone will be done through the company’s official website of Redmi 8A dual on Mi.com. Redmi 8A has been launched in India.

Talking about the features, the phone has a 6.22-inch HD display, which comes with Waterdrop Notch. The 2Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor has been given to the phone. The phone has 32 GB of internal storage with 2 GB and 3 GB RAM. The feature of VoWiFi has also been given in this phone.

For photography, two rear cameras are available in Redmi 8A . It has a primary sensor of 13 megapixels and a secondary sensor of 2 megapixels. The rear camera comes with Ai Scene Detection and Ai Portrait Mode. On the front, this phone comes with an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The battery of the smartphone is also quite powerful. It has a 5000 mAh battery, which comes with an 18W fast charger. It also has the feature of reverse charging.
