Samsung Galaxy A22 5G

Introduction

The Samsung galaxy A22 5g was launched recently in July 2021 with high hopes for Samsung. But a flurry of high-profile phone launches in and around the same time has stolen the limelight off it. Quite clearly its unique selling proposition is based around the ‘5g’ theme which is red hot in the market at the moment. It happens to support a wide array of 11 5g bands in total.

Design

On the front, Samsung boasts a large 6.6-inch LCD panel which has a Full-HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Thus it is expected to be great for entertainment. However, The quality of the display is fairly average; viewing angles are narrow and colours are not very punchy.

Hardware and performance

Samsung sports a MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G SoC in this phone.  Although it’s not something to shout on the streets about and isn’t very competitive at this price either, it does provide the customers with very satisfactory performance. The Galaxy A22 5G has Bluetooth 5 and dual-band Wi-Fi ac, along with support for the usual sensors and satellite navigation systems. Samsung Pay Mini is also supported. This phone features a 5,000mAh battery, which should be able to power it easily for at least a full day.

The mid-range phone provides the customers with reasonably good performance. When it comes to accomplishing the day-to-day ordinary tasks, it works seamlessly and even the multitasking experience is quite satisfactory. However, it lags behind in the gaming experience and even in low graphic settings some of the high-end games don’t run uninterrupted.

Cameras

Cameras have never been the strong point of Samsung Galaxy A22 5G but they are quite useful if you’re shooting under good lighting.
