Redmi 9 Power design
This Redmi 9 Power phone sports a 6.53-inch full-HD+ resolution display and there is Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The 9 Power operates on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC. Redmi 9 Power performance
The 9 Power’s performance is very impressive would not leave any room for complaint. It loads bulky apps reasonably fast and multitasking was not a problem with the 4GB of RAM it has onboard. The fingerprint scanner and other sensors work quite smoothly as well.
Gaming
While the user experience of MIUI 12 might, things are quite smooth once you enter an app and start strolling about, and the same applies to gaming. In spite of falling in the low price bracket, one could play graphic intensive games like Call of Duty: Mobile quite seamlessly even at ‘Medium’ graphics and ‘Medium’ frame rates. Some of the older classics like Asphalt: Xtreme ran at ‘HDPI’ and ‘Better Quality at are surprisingly a treat to play and run very smooth without hiccups.
The 9 Power does two things differently. It has stereo speakers, which enhance video and gaming on the device, and the big battery gives it a push in the right direction when it comes to battery life. Apart from this, it still feels like a typical Redmi smartphone, delivering the same software experience. Camera performance is acceptable for the price but isn’t great. If you find yourself in the market looking for a smartphone mainly for media consumption, the 9 Power makes a strong case. Other suitable alternatives would be the Moto G9 (Review) and the 9 Prime (Review).
